About GSBANA Membership

Membership includes the right to register and record animals with GSBANA and to be listed in the breeder’s directory.

MEMBERSHIP UNITS are defined as any flock that is managed as a unit by a single family, corporation, group of other partnership and is entitled to no more than one (1) Active membership with one (1) vote, regardless of how many locations the flock is managed on. Correspondingly, sheep that reside at one address and are managed as a unit are considered to be a single flock and are eligible for no more than one (1) Active Membership with one (1) vote.

Renewing members are required to complete the form ONLY if any information has changed.

Member Benefits

All members will benefit from the following:

  • promotion of your farm through a listing with live links on the GSBANA website.
  • advertising in the Classified section of the website. (Active and Junior members are allowed free text ads. Associate members must pay for text ads. All members must pay for image ads.)
  • borrowing GSBANA banners for display at fiber or sheep events
  • participation in the association annual meeting. (Voting rights for Active members only.)
  • access to a broad base of Gotland breeders with years of experience as shepherds.

Membership Type:
Active (one vote per farm) – $15 per year
Associate (no voting privileges) – $10 per year
Junior (no voting privileges) – $5 per year

If you need to transfer ownership, request a duplicate certificate, make changes to the animals registration, or other registry services, please complete the Work Order and Fee Schedule below and send it along with the required documentation and fees to the address listed on the Work Order.
