Did you know that Gotland wool felts really well and there are SO MANY different functional pieces you can make for your own home or to sell! Check out the details below for a felting workshop we are offering on our farm with an internationally known felt artist!
VT Grand View Farm is hosting a workshop/retreat with felt artist Jo Hesse from May 17-19 on our farm in Central Vermont! In this two day workshop students will create a round floor or meditation cushion decorated with a mandala pattern of the students own design. Students will learn:
- 3D felt making using a resist
- preparing pre-felts
- utilizing pre-felts to create intricate colored inlays in felted fabric
- stuffing and finishing the seamless cushion
